Do you want to volunteer in a care home? At the St Monica Trust, your focus will be on building relationships with the residents and older people living in Bristol. Volunteers bring a range of skills that enrich life both within and outside our communities. There are plenty of ways to get involved with volunteering from helping with coffees, supporting regular activities in one of the care homes or helping out with special events in a retirement village.
NHS Cadets is a programme for young people (14-18) from all backgrounds. During this programme, you will learn practical skills for a future in healthcare, and explore the different roles within the NHS. There are opportunities to join NHS Cadet sessions online and in-person

The NHS has 6 core values! The first value is "Working Together For Patients".
While all staff members must work together to meet the NHS values, there are some roles that readily meet this specific value due to the job responsibilities.
As the NHS value states, "Patients come first in everything the NHS does".
Therefore, these NHS job roles have more contact with patients and easily meet the value, "Working Together For Patients"!

Who is Paul Stephenson?
Paul Stephenson is a Civil Rights Activist who has helped to shape Bristol into a more inclusive city.
The Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education (ACE) at @UWEBristol now has the Paul Stephenson Bursary, for applicants from Ethnic Minority backgrounds.
